"To the memory of Sarah, wife of Thomas Betts, who after undergoing a dangerous operation, and for upwards of 15 months enduring sever bodily pain with Christian fortitude and resignation in the firm belief of a joyful resurrection, departed this life on the 16th Sept. 1821, in her 36th year. “O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory?”
